The Crossbowman is a hero at the Human Kingdom with a minimum Requirement of  × 4 and a Cost of  × 1. The Crossbowman's attacks do Physical Damage and have no Element. The Crossbowman gives  Shield to the hero in front of it ignoring any heroes with the rage stat with its passive unlocked by the Witch, this is the only way currently to use the powerful Metal Mage Relic.

Tactics

If you have Metal Mage then it is a good idea to put crossbowman directly behind your magic heroes, do not put crossbowman behind a rage hero as the Shield will reduce their Rage.
