Monsters

Every afternoon monsters attack the kingdom and need to be defeated by your heroes. Some monsters drop Shards when defeated. If a monster reaches your heroes it hits them dealing damage and applying any effects the monster might apply. If a player builds a Bonfire outpost monsters have a chance to evolve. Evolved monsters have extra  HP and deal more  damage, they also count as 2 kills towards Glory and drop extra Shards.

Usage

Monsters usually attack your kingdom, but many monsters can be recruited to fight for you. Monsters can be acquired by the Hermit for free, bought from the Adventurer, summoned with the Portal, or summoned with the Prison outpost.
