Coins are used to acquire additional slots on the battlefield. They are acquired as taxes from buildings by the king and by defeating bosses.

Acquiring

• When the King visits a building he collects 2 ×  Coins as taxes. The amount can be upgraded at the Church by using Faith.
• The Goblin King boss drops a total of 18 ×  Coins
• The Demon Spider boss drops a total of 36 ×  Coins

History

• The main functionality of coins was transferred to Shards in Demo build 83 shards are collected similarly to treasure was previously
• Coins were renamed from Treasure in Demo build 61
• Taxes were introduced in Demo build 46. Before that treasure was dropped by defeated enemies. Increasing Curse could be used to fight more enemies and gather more treasure.
